So who’s going to be the next Tiger Woods? LJ or Jara?

Looks like the hair will have to be tamed or let’s just give Tiger a few more years …

So who’s going to be the next Tiger Woods? LJ or Jara?

Looks like the hair will have to be tamed or let’s just give Tiger a few more years …

Back in November, we visited Grand Canyon West and went to see the new Grand Canyon Skywalk.
Â
You walk on a platform made of glass with the rim of the Grand Canyon about 70 feet behind you and the other side of the rim is about 3 miles in front. You look down and you see nothing but 2,000 feet of air between you and the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
What an experience!

The walkway is a horseshoe-shaped glass at about 1,219 meters height above the floor of the canyon. It’s not directly above the main canyon, Granite Gorge, but instead it extends over a side canyon and affords a view into the main canyon.

Today we said our goodbyes to Mama Mary as she goes and visits another home for the month. She stayed with us in December, the 3rd year in a row.
“O Blessed Mother, as you depart, we can hardly express our joy, that you have desired to be with us even for a while. We beg you to continue interceding for us and giving us abundant blessings. We await for your return with profound ardor… Thank you.”
Looks like another one of our annual thingies as Jara is wont to say — our second snow fun in January…

And again, you’ll have to wait for the gallery upload as I’m trying to decide still if I should upgrade the gallery and mess it up then upload the pictures or upload the pictures now, mess up the gallery and upload again later
… just a little bit more patience. I’m getting there … soon …
Just in case you’re wondering if it’s a camera blur or the shaking hand, it’s really snowing …

I haven’t really finished organizing all the pictures from all the SD cards, phones and drives not to mention the ones we got from email and snailmail but I couldn’t resist putting up this picture and I’m making it the picture of the year. Maybe I’ll make it pictures of the year 2008 when I find more good ones.

Jara - Grand Canyon 2008
I took this picture myself when we went to Grand Canyon - I remember it was just after lunch and Jara and I were looking for Daddy & LJ who finished their lunch first and took a walk to the metal house by the hill. It’s so funny and timing that Jara posed between these apparently husband and wife who at the same time was looking down in opposite directions to find a step down and they’re both wearing black, while Jara at the center was in red/pink with all smiles… It wasn’t planned. It just happened.
Better late than never huh? This is the only thing I can do now before I go to bed and continue reading my new novel from the library. That’s how it has been these past months — too busy or too lazy to upload the pics and update the blog.
